Balanced Power Meets Stability
Enhance EPP Turbo Hybrid LH 16mm Pickleball Paddle
Enhance Pickleball developed the Turbo line around foam construction that prioritizes usable performance rather than simply chasing experimental manufacturing processes. The EPP Turbo Hybrid LH 16mm combines a Full Floating Foam Core, internal perimeter weighting, a premium CFC face layup, and raw T700 carbon fiber grit to create a responsive all-court paddle with power, spin, stability, and forgiveness.
The floating foam core uses an EPP foam center surrounded by an EVA foam ring. Enhance tuned the foam density and layer thickness through numerous construction iterations, seeking a balance between lively energy return and controlled response. Compared with more traditional paddle construction, the EPP produces a distinctive hollow, responsive feel while helping the Turbo deliver maximum performance across the entire paddle face.
Internal weighting along the sides helps increase stability and twist resistance while expanding the effective sweet spot. The EPP Turbo Hybrid carries a 6.6+ twist weight and 110–114 swing weight, providing stability without making the paddle excessively demanding during fast hands battles.
Its CFC layup combines carbon fiber, a fiberglass layer, and another carbon fiber layer. This construction improves energy return and produces a poppier response while preserving a connected feel. The spin-optimized surface uses raw T700 carbon fiber grit for increased ball bite, dwell time, and elite spin potential.
The Hybrid measures 16.25” long and 7.75” wide with a 5.9” handle and 4.1” grip circumference. At 7.8-8.0 oz, it offers near-elongated reach with more lateral forgiveness than a narrow elongated paddle.
Within the broader Turbo lineup, EPP foam paddles are offered in multiple shapes, including EPP elongated, EPP Hybrid, and EPP Turbo Widebody configurations. The lineup also includes an MPP Turbo elongated option built around MPP foam for players seeking a softer, springier response. While the EPP widebody emphasizes forgiveness and the elongated shape favors reach and leverage, the EPP Turbo Hybrid sits between them as a balanced choice.
For players seeking high power, spin, stability, and modern full foam performance at a more accessible price than many premium models, the Enhance Turbo Hybrid delivers an appealing combination of optimized construction and versatile playability.
Enhance EPP Turbo Hybrid FAQ
What makes the Full Floating Foam Core different?
The core combines an EPP foam center with an EVA foam ring. Enhance tunes the foam density and construction to balance responsive power, control, stability, and feel.
What does the internal perimeter weighting do?
Internal perimeter weighting increases twist resistance and stability while enlarging the usable sweet spot for more consistent off-center contact.
How does the CFC face layup perform?
The premium CFC face layup combines carbon fiber, fiberglass, and carbon fiber to increase energy return while retaining a controlled, connected response.
Is the EPP Turbo designed for spin?
Yes. T700 carbon fiber grit creates a textured paddle face with strong ball bite and dwell time for high spin potential.
Why choose the EPP Turbo Hybrid shape?
The hybrid shape balances reach, paddle width, stability, and maneuverability, making it especially suitable for all-court players who want a long handle without committing to a narrower elongated shape.
