When selecting a pickleball paddle, some players prioritize a softer, quieter impact. We’ve assembled a range of paddles specifically designed to minimize noise, using advanced materials and construction techniques to achieve a more muted sound.

The key to a quieter paddle lies in its core and face materials. Many of these paddles feature a polypropylene honeycomb core, which effectively dampens noise. Additionally, paddles with graphite or carbon fiber faces tend to produce less sound, as these materials help absorb and diffuse the impact energy more effectively.

Core thickness also plays a significant role in noise reduction. Paddles with thicker cores not only create a quieter “thud” rather than a sharp “pop,” but also enhance control, making them ideal for precise shots. For the best results, look for paddles with a core thickness of 16mm (0.63 inches) or more.
