Tourna Pickleball Mega Tac Overgrips are made for players who want an exceptionally secure, locked-in connection with their paddle. Featuring Tourna’s extremely tacky surface, Mega Tac is designed to help reduce slipping and twisting in the hand so you can maintain greater confidence and control during quick exchanges, aggressive drives, and high-pressure points.
The defining feature of Mega Tac is its intense tackiness. Instead of a dry or lightly textured feel, the surface provides a noticeably sticky sensation that helps keep the paddle firmly positioned in your hand. For players who prefer maximum grip security, that added traction can make the paddle feel more stable throughout every phase of play.
Tourna applies a proprietary coating engineered to maintain its tacky feel substantially longer than conventional overgrips. According to Tourna, Mega Tac can retain its tackiness up to 10 times longer than typical overgrips, delivering approximately 10 to 14 hours of continuous play. That extended performance makes it especially appealing to frequent players and competitors who do not want to replace their overgrip after only a short period on the court.
Despite its exceptionally tacky feel, Mega Tac maintains an ultra-thin profile. At just .44mm thick, the overgrip adds an enhanced gripping surface without dramatically increasing the circumference of the paddle handle. Players can gain additional traction while preserving much of the original shape, size, and responsiveness of their existing grip.
The thin construction also helps maintain a close connection to the paddle. Players who are particular about handle size often want the benefits of an overgrip without making the handle feel noticeably larger. Mega Tac is designed with that balance in mind, providing increased grip security while keeping added bulk to a minimum.
Each overgrip is tailored specifically for the dimensions of a pickleball paddle handle. This pickleball-specific sizing creates a cleaner, more convenient installation and eliminates the need to trim down an unnecessarily long grip designed for another racquet sport.
A dependable hold becomes particularly important during fast-paced pickleball. Rapid hand battles at the kitchen, hard drives, overheads, and quick transitions can all create opportunities for the paddle to shift in the hand. Mega Tac's high-tack surface is designed to help resist that unwanted movement, allowing you to focus more on your shot and less on maintaining your grip.
Mega Tac is built for demanding play and has been trusted by professional pickleball players, including Tyson McGuffin. Its combination of extreme tackiness, long-lasting performance, and minimal thickness makes it well suited for both recreational players who prefer a highly secure grip and competitors preparing for tournament play.
Tourna Pickleball Mega Tac Overgrips are available in white, black, and blue, giving players the option to coordinate the grip with their paddle or personal style. Each package contains two pickleball overgrips along with finishing tape for a clean, secure installation.
Proudly made in the USA, Tourna Pickleball Mega Tac Overgrips deliver a straightforward performance advantage for players who prioritize maximum tack. With their ultra-thin construction, long-lasting proprietary coating, and paddle-specific fit, they provide a secure feel without unnecessarily changing the dimensions of the handle.
